Horizon Christian Church

At Horizon Christian Church we gather together every Sunday evening at 5:30pm for some very specific purposes.  Simply put, those purposes are to worship God and strengthen our local church body.  To give you a better idea of what that looks like these are some of the things you can expect to experience every week at our Sunday Gatherings.

Community & Food: We believe that one of the easiest ways to get to know someone is to share some food, and a conversation, with them.  So, every week we provide FREE food and an opportunity for you to get to know someone a little better.  The first 30 minutes of our Sunday Gatherings are purposefully designed to create community and an environment that produces authentic worship.

Preaching: Every week we unashamedly preach from God's Word (the Bible) and proclaim the Gospel message.  The reason we exist, as a church is to share this message with the world and preaching, or proclamation of God's Word, is the tool that has been used to communicate God's message for thousands of years.

Singing: The use of music to offer praise to God, and encouragement to each other, is something we see throughout scripture.  Every week we join together in song to do just that. 

Communion: We remember and celebrate Jesus Christ dying for the sins of the world every week through taking communion.  A small piece of bread that represents Christ's body and a small cup of juice that represents his blood is what we use to do this.
