One of the largest obstacles for any church plant is obtaining the necessary resources. There are many different kinds of resources that new churches need, and some require special people with special skills. But, some of the most important and vital resources are financial resources, which can be supplied by anyone. The only requirement for giving is a generous heart and a willingness to partner with an organization that is dedicated to reaching the lost of the world with the Gospel message.
How can I donate? You can donate by mailing a check to: Horizon Christian Church What will donated financial resources go towards? If you donate money to Horizon Christian Church, you will be directly contributing to our Lead Minister's salary and our monthly operational cost (i.e. facility rental, insurance, printing, supplies, etc.). The majority of our one time gifts will be used for start up costs associated with starting a church. (i.e. sound system, advertisement materials, software, etc.)
What kind of donations are normal? We suggest that our financial supporters consider committing to give a specific amount every month for a time period of three years. This is a standard time-frame for a church plant to become self-supporting. However, if you would prefer you can simply give a one time gift.
Can I deduct my donation on my taxes? Yes! Horizon Christian Church is a state registered non-profit organization and you will receive an annual giving statement that will be tax deductible.
How will financial supporters be kept up to date? All financial supporters will receive a monthly newsletter updating them on the facts and figures of the church as well as the current happenings. In addition, churches who donate will be given the opportunity to host one of our staff team members annually for a public update.
